Privacy & data handling

Clear about the information we use

This page describes the information handled through this website and the principles we use when working with client data.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Information you send through this website

When you submit the contact form, your name, email, organisation (if provided), phone (if provided), topic and message are sent to Nexora’s serverless form endpoint and forwarded by Resend to codecraftkenya@gmail.com. If online delivery is unavailable, the page offers a prefilled email draft as a fallback; that draft is sent only if you choose to send it from your email app.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use the information you provide to respond and discuss a potential engagement. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, financial account data or sensitive personal records through the website contact form or ordinary email.

Website analytics and third-party services

This site includes Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel says Web Analytics does not use cookies; it identifies visitors using a request-derived hash that resets daily and reports aggregated dimensions such as country, browser and device. Analytics processing is also subject to Vercel’s documentation and terms. Contact submissions also pass through Vercel’s hosting and Resend’s email service. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds a Google Map on the Contact page. Those providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads their content.

Links to GitHub, WhatsApp, email and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Data handled for a client project

For a project, the client and Nexora should agree in writing before access is granted: what data is needed and why, each party’s role, authorised users, approved systems and locations, safeguards, any subprocessors, incident contacts, retention period, and how data and access will be returned or removed at the end. The agreement for that project controls its specific handling.

We aim to use the minimum data needed for the agreed work, restrict access to people who need it, and use synthetic or de-identified samples where they are sufficient. Do not provide production data until the scope and handling arrangements are documented and approved by your organisation.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry details are kept in the recipient email account and may also be retained in email delivery logs according to the email providers’ retention practices. Nexora uses enquiry details for follow-up and keeps them only as long as needed for that purpose or to meet applicable obligations. Project data retention and deletion are agreed for each engagement; there is no single retention period that applies to every client project.

You can ask us about personal information you have provided, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a concern by emailing codecraftkenya@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also contact Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Applicable framework

We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable data protection requirements, including Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 and related regulations. This summary is not a substitute for the project agreement or legal advice.
